HR Administrator – Norwich – 38 hours per week
My client is a leading engineering manufacturer based in Norwich. Due to continued success, they have a new opportunity for an HR Administrator to join their team to support their internal HR function.
Provide excellent administration support to the HR Department;
To ensure accurate HR records at all times;
Reception cover as and when required to cover lunch breaks, holiday and sickness
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure CipHR (HR database) is accurately maintained and updated;
Scanning all employee related documentation to CipHR;
Supporting the HR Advisor for all new starters and leavers
Supporting the HR Advisor and Departmental Managers by monitoring and updating the absence database. Ensure ‘return to work meetings’ are all recorded. Attending a weekly meeting with the HR Advisor to review all employee absence;
Supporting the HR Department with the recruitment of permanent and temporary employees; co-ordinating interviews, providing Managers with relevant interview material, booking meeting rooms;
Supporting the HR Advisor with the maintenance of all HR documentation to a high standard
Producing CIPHR reports on a regular, scheduled and ad hoc basis as required by the HR Department;
Other ad-hoc projects or administrative duties within the capabilities of the role holder (for which training has been provided) as required;
Maintains employee confidentiality and protects operations and the business by ensuring Human Resource information is confidential.
All reception administration duties (training provided) to ensure the following support:
Cover Reception for one hour lunch break every day;
Cover Reception for one afternoon every week on a rota basis
Provide holiday, emergency or unplanned cover for Reception
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in an office based role, ideally with experience within a manufacturing environment
You will have excellent literacy, PC and numeracy skills, excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels to a diverse range of people.
The successful candidate must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and can build rapport and communicate at all levels, especially when dealing with sensitive issues
