Our Norfolk based client are looking for a person to join a team of experienced employees to set and mind CNC machines and undertake other manual machining processes.
The job will be based around the use of in-house created CNC machining programs, setting of machine and workpiece offsets and the running of small batch production runs. First off and last off inspections will be undertaken, attention to detail it critical and processing through to completion with deburring, part numbering and associated paperwork is necessary.
Whilst the successful applicant does not need to have a CNC programming background, basic G and M code knowledge would be desirable. Additionally experience of basic engineering practices such as the use of a conventional lathe, mill, drill are essential along with manual bench fitting skills (cutting, filing etc)
There will be an element of paperwork involved, clean neat handwriting will be required.
Previous experience within the aviation industry is not needed
Remuneration will be entirely skill dependant, the salary range is listed below.
Own reliable transport required due to location of client – North of Norwich
