Job Title: New Business Development Manager
Location: East of England specifically to target Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire.
Salary: £35000 – £45000 per annum
About the job
Our client are a leading manufacturer of packaging based in Norwich, Norfolk.
Our clients business is growing, and we’ve recently increased our production capability though investment in new plant and machinery.
As a result of this, they are looking for a New Business Development Manager to identify and secure new business in the western margins of the east of England specifically to target Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire.
An external sales position, with a primary objective of identifying new customers and winning new business for the Company along the A1/M11 corridors of England.
Build long term business relationships with customers by giving help and advice to make the most out of their packaging.
Work together with sales, design, commercial and operations teams to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Support our sales strategy and achieve set targets.
Self-motivated and able to work independently to uncover new opportunities, including cold calling.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking with people at all levels of an organisation.
Positive attitude and mindset, and personality to fit into our sales team.
Great organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Focused and results driven with the ability to negotiate and close new business.
Knowledge of corrugated packaging and/or selling into a B2B environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Full Driving Licence required
