We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Head Housekeeper to support the smooth running of two well-established hospitality venues in North Norfolk. This role is split across both properties and is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort.
The venues include a countryside inn and events venue set within beautiful grounds, alongside a busy waterside hotel in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Both properties offer guest accommodation, food service and event facilities, requiring a flexible and organised approach to housekeeping operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily housekeeping standards across guest rooms and public areas
- Cleaning and preparing rooms to a high standard
- Managing linen, stock levels and housekeeping supplies
- Supporting and supervising housekeeping team members
- Carrying out room inspections and reporting maintenance issues
- Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Assisting with rota planning and prioritising workloads during busy periods
- Helping maintain excellent guest satisfaction and presentation standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping experience within hotels, inns or hospitality
- Supervisory or head housekeeper experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A positive, hardworking and reliable attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods
