We are recruiting on behalf of a successful, family-run and growing food-led business for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service and taking ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy restaurant.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth, efficient and profitable running of the restaurant, working closely with the owners and wider team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating and developing the restaurant team.
- Recruiting, training and onboarding new staff.
- Managing rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service.
- Managing budgets, labour costs and day-to-day expenditure.
- Monitoring stock, wastage and overall profitability.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Managing busy services, group bookings, private dining and special events.
- Ensuring food safety, health & safety and company standards are maintained.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone with previous restaurant management or strong supervisory experience who is:
- A confident and natural team leader.
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service.
- Experienced in training and developing staff.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of budgets and costs.
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure.
- Hands-on and happy to lead by example.
