Technique Recruitment Solutions are working with our Norwich based design, manufacture & installation client who are based in the Rackheath area, close to the North side of Norwich and looking for a new team member to help out in there factory/warehouse, initially on a temporary basis but scope for this to be extended.
General Workshop Assistant / Assembler.
Rackheath based
Pay rate based around experience £13.75 – £18.00 p/hr PAYE.
This would be varied role and our client is really looking for someone that is willing to help out where required but main duties will involve:
– Experience assembling cabinets, furniture, kitchens, lockers or similar products.
– Confident using drills, drivers, routers and normal hand tools.
– Able to work accurately from 2D drawings, schedules and sample assemblies.
– Good understanding of hinges, ironmongery, panel products, sanitaryware and basic pre-plumbed components.
– Careful handling of finished laminates, mirrors and painted components.
– Own transport to Rackheath.
– Sorting panels (manual handling/lifting)
– Packaging and wrapping pallets for dispatch to sites
– Loading and offloading deliveries & material
– Some assistance of machinery operation (programming is done by others so this just involves loading panels into the machines – Training given)
– Keeping work areas clean
Any Carpentry / Joinery / furniture assembly experience would be preferable.
Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 approx (Some flexibility is needed)
