And just like that, March has come to an end (or Q1 2025 for you business folk out there)!
Bringing the lighter evenings and short bursts of sunshine, March has felt like a breath of fresh air for us all.
This is your reminder to step outside the office or workplace occasionally. Get yourself outside, soak up some vitamin D, and feel refreshed. We take ourselves on a lunchtime walk and are blessed with views like the one above!
In this newsletter, read about what we’ve been up to and find some helpful information about the legislation changes in April. Our latest vacancies are also in the spotlight at the end!
Celebrating Glens Anniversary

On the 24th of March we celebrated Glen’s 10 year anniversary at Technique!
With his expertise in engineering and recruitment, he has been an integral part of the Technique Recruitment team over the years.
We presented Glen with some gifts and most importantly his certificate, filled with flattering pictures we have taken over the years. It is one to be framed!
Congratulations Glen, and we look forward to the future!
Changes in Employment Legislation
April is bringing some important changes to national and minimum wage, national insurance contributions and employment allowance.
If you have a business, make sure you have prepared for these and understand the implications of the increases.
If you are currently being paid national living or minimum wage, ensure your employer increases your rate!
Check out the article we wrote on this. It covers the changes that are happening, how it can affect your business, and our suggestions for your next steps. We hope it helps you!
Lots of Networking and Client Visits
Throughout March, our Manufacturing and Engineering team have been busy visiting our existing clients and meeting new ones. It is the perfect opportunity to hear about the exciting developments for our clients and plan for the new tax year!

Katie and Ellie from the Hospitality recruitment team, and Vicky our Marketing Executive also enjoyed a beautiful morning at the Goat Shed with Buy Local Norfolk.
It was inspiring to hear how the Goat shed has grown from a small shed in lockdown to thriving spot for family fun, great food, and quality local produce. It is always good to catch up with other local businesses, and the cheese scone afterwards topped the morning off!
